Jajce is a small town, but offering a LOT to tourists. The waterfall looks extraordinary! Brana is a very special place for swimming or grilling near the water. Jajce fortress is a must-visit! One of the best castles I've ever visited. Beautiful views in 360 degrees. The small mills, Mlincici is also a beauty. Downtown Jajce is charming, reminded me on sea-towns' atmosphere.
Bingo hypermarket is big enough, they have everything you could need. They have a huge garage, a restaurant as well.
Only disadvantage: we could not find selective garbege bins: the possibility to collect plastic, paper, glass in different bins.

Small authentic town with kind people, many abandoned houses, stray cats and dogs on the streets. There is a large supermarket 'Crvena jabuka' close to the old town. I can recommend visiting Mlinčići (old watermills) about 5 km from the town centre, and 'Bridge of Love' on the way there.

Motel Plaza is in the middle section of the Plivsko Lake,...
Motel Plaza is in the middle section of the Plivsko Lake, the hotel is normally busy because it sits close to the shoreline and has a few very close attractions, the town of Jajce is close by some 10 mins by car and has many attractions to cover all weather situations, but staying on the lake gives you so much to do, walks over the bridge of Lovers connecting North side to south side of lake, the Small mills (Mlinicici) on the east side of lake with some lovely small waterfalls, and on the western side an intriguing wetland (Mocvara) with a small village called Jezero on an island formed in the middle of the river runing from the lake (called Pliva)...
The Hotel / Motel Plaza was ideally sited and was a good choice with lovely staff and desk people & Bar staff .... breakfast was brilliant and I will be doing this again as I felt I needed some more nights to see more of the location... Thanks to the Motel for it's cordiality. 10/10

The waterfall is beautiful and need to be seen both in daylight and in the evening spotlights. The downtown is cute, small but impressed us very positively. Worth 2-3 hours to see and have alunch there, or - as we did - have a stopover for one night there. All the people we met were very friendly and supportive. Nice country, nice people!
We arrived from Banja Luka direction and that road was amazing in the walley of river Vrbas. Good for motorbikers like us :)

I would recommend a two night stay at Jajce.
I would recommend a two night stay at Jajce.
Sites I visited:
The old city, the fortress, Pliva waterfall and the AVNOJ museum.
AVNOJ museum is recommended, provided one likes history-related sites (which I do). It is less relevant for people who do not seek such places.

Jajce is nice place to stay for 1-2 days.
Jajce is nice place to stay for 1-2 days.
Tourism is not developed yet in this town:
- Low supply of accommodation.
- The best view to waterfalls on other site of Vrbas River is not marked (path from parking on road to Banja Luka).
It is strongly recommended to visit Mlinici (small watermills) at Pliva lakes. We used road M-5 to Bihać. However we could not go back via waterfals by local road. It is one way direction. Right direction by the local road is ul. Kralja Stjepana Tomaševića (from Crvena Jabuka supermaket to the west),
This is a wonderful place to stay. It's a quiet, private room just outside the city gate of Jajce, within easy walking distance of everything. Check in was simple and the folks running it are very down to earth and friendly. I enjoyed coming back here to relax after wandering around the town and surrounding area. Definitely a fantastic choice, and superb value for money.
super close to town. A walking distance to all little restaurants, the old Fortress and Pliva River Falls. great gym food and hospitality and there are reminds of Turkish Hamam in the middle of the restaurant or the main level of the hotel. that was super cool. so mi h history. There is only mosque right next to the hotel that has female name in entire Bosnia.
The host was amazing, they guided us with their car to our private parking spot and were really flexible with arrival and check out times. They sent detailed program and eating opportunities around Jajce. The flat itself is spacious, clean and modern. The view from the balcony is super nice too! If you come tó Jajce I warm heartedly recommend staying here.
The location is very nice right in the old part of Jajce and you have a beautiful view on the city. Mimas and Emirs house is small and cozy and we very much appreciated that they were happy to share their time and story's with us. Mima prepared tea and coffee for us and even gave us fresh home made pita when we left. Thank you for everything!
Location is simply fabulous. Right on top of the waterfall, and close to the fortress. Hardly can one get a better spot in Jajce. Dzana and Serkan were great! They found a parking place, allowed us to keep the car there a few hours after the checkout. Also, they run a wonderful pastry shop where one can freshen up in the warm summer days.
The location is amazing, the house is literally just above the waterfall. The apartment was cool, we didn't even need to turn on the air conditioning. The rooms and the sofa bed are comfortable, and there is a nice little balcony. The kitchen had everything that's needed to make some Bosnian coffee. :) The host was very kind.
Very large and furnished two stories apartment with private garden and direct access to the river. The apartment is extremely nice with even washing machine and dryer (soap included!). Just 10 minutes away from the town of Jajce. Super quiet at night, and you can sleep hearing the flowing river nearby.
Very good apartment just a few minutes away by walk from Jajce Old Town. Super friendly host (we thank you once again for the welcome gift!). The accommodation is clean, beds are comfortable and the view from the balcony is amazing. Absolutely recommended!
The location is great. You can visit by foot old town with castle, scenic waterfall and some museums. Staff is nice and breakfast was OK. There are some parking spaces nearby which are reserved for the hotel.
A very clean and comfortable stay right in the center of Jajce. Room was clean, spacious and well equipped. There was AC and a small fridge. Would reccomned if you are looking for a place to stay in Jajce!
Amazing experience at the charming Konoba in Jajce. The room was comfortable. The highlight was great location by waterfalls with nice pool. The breakfast was excelllent, also on-site restaurant.
The owner is very kind and helpful. Bungalow is built in their private farm and has an outdoor pantry attached to the living room. Location provides easy access to all Jajce attractions.
The setting is spectacular - the hotel and restaurant are surrounded by waterfalls. The staff are great, and the food is excellent. I would have loved to stay longer!
The host are just the best. Very thoughtful and overall nice couple. The location has the best view in Jajce. The place is clean and overall comfortable.
